We Give Because We Remember What It Was Like to Receive

Generosity has been part of the heart of Stacked With Purpose from the beginning.

But it didn't start with a business.

There were seasons in Sarah and Marshall's own lives when they didn't have much, and churches, ministries, organizations, and people stepped in to help.

They haven't forgotten what that felt like.

To be seen.
To have someone recognize a need.
To receive when you weren't in a position to give something back.

Those experiences planted something in their hearts:

If God ever put something in their hands that could be used to help someone else, they wanted to give.

That conviction became part of the way Stacked With Purpose operates today.

Freely We Have Received. Freely We Give.

Scripture teaches that generosity isn't simply about how much we have. It's about what we're willing to do with what has been entrusted to us.

Jesus said, "Freely you have received; freely give." — Matthew 10:8

And 1 Peter 4:10 reminds us to use what we've received to serve others.

For Stacked With Purpose, that means giving isn't something reserved for someday when the company is "big enough."

We can give from what is in our hands now.

Sometimes that's money.
Sometimes it's a piece of jewelry.
Sometimes it's time.
Sometimes it's encouragement.
And sometimes it's simply a word given at exactly the right moment.

Giving Can Look Different

Throughout the year, Stacked With Purpose has opportunities to partner with churches, ministries, missions, organizations, families, and causes whose work aligns with the heart of SWP.

For many ministry and church partnerships where Stacked With Purpose is invited to serve and set up, 10% of sales are given back to the hosting ministry.

But giving isn't always financial.

SWP has donated products, sponsored giveaways, given time, supported missions, created special collections, and looked for opportunities to use what the company already has to bless others.

One of the most meaningful ways SWP gives costs nothing to the person receiving it.

Before traveling to certain events and places, Sarah and Marshall pray and prepare Words in Due Season to bring with them.

And then they simply give them away.

No purchase required.
No transaction attached.

Just encouragement for the person who needs it.

Because sometimes the most valuable thing you can give someone isn't something they can hold in their hands.

It's a word they carry in their heart.

How We Choose Where to Give

Not every partnership looks the same, and Stacked With Purpose doesn't want giving to become simply another business formula.

Sarah and Marshall pray about the opportunities placed before them and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in deciding where and how SWP should give.

Sometimes that means supporting a mission.
Sometimes a church.
Sometimes an organization.
Sometimes a family or a specific cause.
And sometimes the opportunity to give looks completely different from anything they expected.

The goal isn't simply to say that Stacked With Purpose gives back.

The goal is to remain willing to give when the opportunity is placed in front of us.

The dream for Stacked With Purpose isn't simply to become a successful company.

It's for our capacity to give to grow as we grow.

As more is placed in our hands, we want generosity to overflow from them.

Our hope is that one day we'll be able to provide even more than financial support or a meaningful piece.

We want to help provide resources that encourage people to grow in their faith, understand who they are in Christ, and live from that identity.

Because success, to us, isn't only about how much Stacked With Purpose can build.

It's also about how much we can give away.

And we'll never forget that before we had the opportunity to give, there were people who gave to us.

We received. Now we get to give. And as God provides more, we hope to give even more.
